MEXICO CITY (28/ENE/2012) .- An American wanted in his country for drug trafficking and robbery was captured in Mexico’s Ciudad Juarez (north) and handed over to U.S. authorities, said the federal Public Security Secretariat Saturday.

Rocco-Vigil, who had won parole in 2010 United States, fled to Mexico and hid in Ciudad Juarez, near El Paso, Texas (southern USA).
This man was wanted for “having links with various crimes committed in his country of origin for assault and drug trafficking.” The U.S. Marshals Service issued a new arrest warrant for him in March 2010.
Christopher Rocco was in Mexico without immigration papers, so the INM deported him and turned him over to their peers from the USA, without need for an extradition process.
