CIUDAD VICTORIA, Tamaulipas. November 12 .- Soldiers from the National Defense Secretariat Miguel arrested in German, Tamaulipas five alleged perpetrators of crimes, including trafficking of illegal drugs and possession with intent to sell almost one ton 280 kilograms of marijuana.
The military troops patrolling the streets of Dos de Abril, in the Barrier Colony, in this border town when they spotted two people acting suspiciously, were introduced to a home marked with the number 108, leaving the door open.
Upon investigating, the military realized that inside the building were several bundles of marijuana and three people who tried to escape, while not knowing the origin of the drugs.
To arrest him, the staff of the Ministry of Defense was able to secure, 165 packages and four bags of marijuana, weighing a ton 279 kilos 900 grams, a packaging machine, a metal press for making packages and the aforementioned property.
The five detainees, and the drugs was secured and turned over to the authorities.
Therefore, the public prosecutor attached to the Federation Delegation in Tamaulipas AP/PGR/TAMPS/MA/4455/2011 opened a preliminary investigation case against the five suspects and decided to proceed with the investigation.
