Guerrero Starts security operation for tourists; during the Holiday season!

GUERRERO,  In the December holiday period about 10,000 police officers from the three levels of government take care of people who visit the state of Guerrero have the necessary security on the roads, beaches and major cities where it awaits the arrival of thousands of visitors.

According to the Public Security authorities in this operation involved 743 patrols, 4 helicopters and implemented a special operation on beaches and lagoons to not present any incident.

The Operational Monitoring and Protection of the tourist, will take place in coordination with the Navy of Mexico, the Mexican Army and Federal Police, State and Municipal, who will strengthen patrols along the tourist spots.

According to tourism officials expect a higher hotel occupancy to 80 percent in December this year in the three destinations of Guerrero, Acapulco, IxtapaZihuatanejo and Taxco.
