BOGOTA, May 25. – The Directorate of the Colombian police anti-kidnapping today reported the capture of Ruben Dario Hoyos, alias “El Mocho”, head of the Eastern Bloc military wing of the guerrilla Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
After several months of investigation, the authorities managed to locate in downtown Bogota Hoyos, accused of the failed bomb attack on a police station in the capital, which was to have been carried out on 15 May, was reported in a statement.
He noted that at the time of his capture, the guerrilla was responsible for coordinating military actions against companies and businessmen in central and southeastern South American country.
