Dean Eric Sawtelle, 51, was wanted on charges of fraud, breach of trust and misappropriation of funds
Agents of the State Preventive Police (PEP), in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested, Eric Dean Sawtelle wanted by U.S. authorities.
The International Liaison Coordinator PEP, Alfredo Arenas Moreno, said that by exchanging information with its counterpart in the FBI, they located Sawtelle, and stopped him from committing the same crimes in Mexicali.
With the information obtained during the investigation, state troopers assigned to the International Liaison preventive team implemented an operation in the fields of tourist town of San Felipe.
The individual was identified as Eric Dean Sawtelle, 51, who matched the identity provided by the FBI, so the agents contacted the U.S. authorities to confirm the information of the detainee

Arenas Moreno said he has information indicating Dean Eric Sawtelle was posing as an investor and planned to cheat and abuse the trust of foreigners residing in the town of San Felipe.
Dean Eric Sawtelle was arrested and brought before the appropriate federal authority for delivery to U.S. authorities.
