At approximately 23:45 hours there was a bomb blast inside a car
The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) launched an investigation following the explosion of a car bomb outside the house of the Secretary of Public Safety Tamaulipas, Rafael Lomeli Martinez and killing state police officer.
PGR officials reported that the preliminary investigation was initiated on charges of violation of Federal Law on Firearms and Explosives and the resulting, and did not rule out criminal acts related to organized crime.
At approximately 23:45 hours there was a bomb blast inside a car that was parked outside the home address of Lomeli Martinez, who was unhurt.
The explosion occurred at Amapola Street, in the Division Country and in addition to causing the death of two state troopers, it also seriously injured three other elements of the corporation and one is in stable condition.
