The lower Sergio Adrian Hernandez Guereca, 14 years old, was killed by a Border Patrol agent in broad daylight with dozens of witnesses when he walked by the crossing at the International Bridge Paso del Norte, recorded the time of the crime.
Duarte Jaquez confirmed the application to the Federal Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit United States Government in New Orleans, for the arrest and extradition of the Border Patrol agent, Jesus Mesa.
The murder occurred on June 7, 2010 under the International Bridge in Ciudad Juarez, meanwhile, state prosecutors issued an arrest warrant against the agent from 28 August of that year.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the government of Mexico submitted to the Federal Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit United States, based in New Orleans, Louisiana, a letter of “Friend of the Court” (Shatter curiae) filed by lawyers of the minor’s family Sergio Adrian Hernandez Guereca.
